2008 PAC Golf Fundraiser

October 7, 2008            KMBC PAC Members: We have a PAC fundraiser coming up and here are the details! Date:  Tuesday, October 7, 2008 Place:  Lincoln Homestead State Park            Springfield, Kentucky Time:  Shotgun Start 9:00 AM EST   The date is set and we are as excited as ever for the 3rd Annual 2008 Kentucky Malt Beverage Council PAC Fundraiser Golf Outing. This year the golf outing will be held at the Lincoln Homestead State Park in Springfield, KY. On Monday, October 6th, there will be a KMBC Board Meeting at BJ's Restaurant located at 1008 Commerce Blvd in Bardstown.  Dinner reservations are set for 7:00 pm EST.  I ask that those who plan to attend to contact me by email so that I can we can be assured that enough space is reserved.  For those individuals who plan to stay the night, there is a group of rooms that have been made available at the Hampton Inn located at985 Chambers Blvd in Bardstown.  We have obtained a discount rate of $89.00 for these rooms.  Please contact the Hampton Inn at 502-349-0100 or toll free at 1-800-HAMPTON.  When calling to make reservations you must tell the reservation clerk that you are to receive the "Smith Brothers Distributing Golf Tournament Rate".  All rooms must be reserved by September 21st, 2008 to receive the discount rate. I have created a packet for everyone this year that includes the golf tournament information as well as the team registration and hole sponsorships forms.  We hope that this packet of information can be used as a tool by us all to gain more team registrations and hole sponsorships.  Also, in the past most of our prizes for the tournament have been provided by a small few.  In order to gain as much participation as possible, we are hoping to gather some great prizes from the wholesalers and other council members.  In the past, our prize bank has been a collection of Anheuser-Busch and KMBC promotional items. In order to have a great turnout and the best fundraiser yet, we are in hopes that everyone can participate in gathering prize items.
